Head in the sand...

Or at the very least, buried in fabric.

My work situation is a little uncertain at the moment, for all sorts of boring reasons that I won't go into. Although I have a shed-load to do it seems that what ended up happening instead was a little bit of stitching. I'm playing around with some Field Study to make a shop sample for Annie. This is such a beautiful fabric line. Gorgeous colours, and such a fantastic mix of prints. It's pretty much the definition of eclectic. Just a sneaky peek for now, but I'll show you more when it's done.
I have also got my Pervalong bundle in my hot, sweaty hands. I love it so, and I can't wait to get started. I'm very excited that I will have some lovely people along for the ride with me - for a minute there I was terrified that it would be a huge flop and I would be a giant Billy-no-mates! Phew.

In other news, I am now the proud owner of the world's most spectacular dog-walking wellies. Just because they are going to get covered in mud and assorted other crap doesn't mean that they shouldn't have glitter, that's all I'm saying.
Spectacular, right?

Happy weekend, one and all!

  5. I give you 6 months before you're in 'boring' but comfortable green Aigles, so you can walk the requisite miles in them without blisters!! ;-) Can't wait to see the Field Study sample - I can't decide if I like that line yet....

  7. Fab wellies!

Can I ask you to check your Kona card for me? I cannot resist the pervalong. I have been trying my best from the Robert Kaufman website, but without the colour card actually in front of me, this risks being a technicolour nightmare:

Magenta, Plum, Lupine, Carnation, Dusty Peach, Putty, Celery, Cactus, Peridot, Clover

    Suggestions?

As for the wellies, I don't have glitter but I have leopard print ones and zebra ones (a pair of each, not one of each ;o) )
