A start, and a stop

This is the middle section of my touch of yellow quilt. I can't go any further until I get hold of a couple more greys (charcoal, steel and iron. Annie, are you listening?). I am pretty happy with the way it is going so far, and I really want to carry on with it. Not having the fabric available is quite a good thing though because I really am supposed to be working. Really really supposed to be working. Sigh.
In other news, we are getting a puppy. This time last week we had only the vaguest idea that we might one day get a dog. And then this happened:
So we caved. Spectacularly. She is only six weeks old at the moment so we have a bit of time to prepare ourselves (and the back garden) before the onslaught. Seriously though, how cute is she? I challenge any of you to resist!

Oh my! that dog is just too cute. Getting a puppy was the best thing we ever did for the children. Dog walks and belly laughs have been the result. #happiness

    1. it is for Sandown, yes. Thank you! I like it so far, but it could still go horribly wrong!

She is a very cute pup, and so loving and cuddly. Shame she will get big - I like it when you can cuddle them!

  7. Oh I can resist - but only because we have her hairiness to play with!

She had a bath of sorts today! Wouldn't say she enjoyed it but we will need to work on that!

Great stitching! Nice bit of sunshine just in case you need to supply your own!

  9. Challenge accepted - have you read all the posts of all the other dog nutters? Good luck with the poop, vom and ruined fabric - fabric money spent on vet's bills... need I go on!?
Love the touch of yellow though - that could live here any day!

Loving the look of your yellow and grey project. But you're right, you do need the darker greys too. Look forward to seeing them added
